Dr. B. Thomas Kays, DDS

Dr. B. Thomas Kays maintains a private practice in General Dentistry in Charleston, South Carolina. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The Citadel, Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa and a Masters in Education - Clinical Counseling from The Citadel. He is also a graduate of the L.D. Pankey Institute for advanced dental education.

Dr. Kays currently holds a faculty appointment of Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics, Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine. As a result of 32 years of clinical and teaching practice, his area of expertise is comprised of cosmetic, implant dentistry and occlusal therapy. Dr. Kays' passion for dentistry is demonstrated through his guest lecturing, publications and past research.

Dr. Scott R. Cayouette, DMD

Dr. Scott R. Cayouette maintains a private practice in General Dentistry in Charleston, South Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Wofford College, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Cayouette completed a two-year residency in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry, University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Texas.

He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Fixed Prosthodontics Department at the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Cayouette is distinguished with memberships in Omicron Kappa Upsilon Academic Honorary Dental Society and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international Honorary Dental Society. Recently, Dr. Cayouette became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and has been actively involved in South Carolina's organized dentistry by participating as an Alternate Delegate and Delegate for the South Carolina Dental Association's House of Delegates. Dr. Cayouette gained extensive training and experience in makeovers, smile design, cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and comprehensive patient care through his residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
